Chuang Lu

Chuang Lu:

Dr. Chuang Lu is an Associate Director in DMPK at Millennium, The Takeda Oncology Company. He received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from the Beijing University in 1982 and his Ph.D. in the Environmental Chemistry from the American University of Washington, DC in 1992.  He did his postdoctoral training at the USDA from 1992 to 1996 with emphasis on the mutagenicity of pesticides and monoclonal antibody techniques.  He then worked for the In Vitro Technologies, Inc. as a Principal Scientist and focused his research on the hepatocyte cryopreservation and application of primary cells in drug metabolism.  Dr. Lu joined Millennium in 2000 and his current research interests include drug metabolizing enzymes, drug-drug interaction, and in vitro – in vivo correlation.
