The Institute for In Vitro Sciences (IIVS) is a non-profit organization wholly dedicated to the advancement of alternative testing methods. Rigorous scientific and compliance programs coupled with Education and Outreach initiatives have established IIVS as a global leader in the advancement of alternatives to animal testing. IIVS was founded in 1997 and is a primary provider of in vitro testing methods in support of toxicological safety evaluations for both industry and government.
